Добрый день! Я ищу “нормативные” русские переводы двух цитат из Отцов Церкви: свв. Августина и Иеронима. У св. Августина, в трактате “О крещении”, по-английски искомое звучит так: “… there is one church which alone is called Catholic; and whenever it has anything of its own in these communions of different bodies which are separate from itself, it is most certainly in virtue of this which is its own in each of them that she, not they, has the power of generation”. У св. Иеронима же - в Against Rufinus 11:33 - так: “What sin have I committed if I followed the judgment of the churches? But he who brings charges against me for relating the objections that the Hebrews are wont to raise against the story of Susanna, the Son of the Three Children, and the story of Bel and the Dragon, which are not found in the Hebrew volume, proves that he is just a foolish sycophant. For I was not relating my own personal views, but rather the remarks that they [the Jews] are wont to make against us”. И как нормативно переводится название послания св. Афанасия “Festal Letter”?
